Action
The airflow contaminated with material particles enters the device through a tangential inlet at the top of the housing. It then flows through a perforated cone, whereupon the clean air is discharged through the outlet opening. The solid material settles on the inside of the cone, from where it is continuously scraped off and compressed by a screw.
The pre-compacted material is pressed against a diaphragm located at the lower outlet opening. This process ensures continuous compaction of the material, whereby the membrane opens under pressure and the material is emptied into a suitable container or bag. The continuous operation of the device prevents pressure fluctuations in the dust extraction system.
